News How to Run Android Apps in Windows 11

I thought I'd give this a try but it says it won't work on my device. System requirements have checks next to all items except Notes where it's just a dash. Says...

Notes: Availability: Only available to Windows 11 Insiders on Beta Channel in the US. (Minimum), Not specified (Recommended)

So not sure what it doesn't like. I didn't have virtualization enabled initially but do now. I'm on Beta with the latest build. Anyone else have any issues with it?

Well i managed to install them outside U.S. By using online Microsoft links website.
And i also managed to sideload apk files using ADB install and it worked like charm
apps after installation appear in start menu.and also from there you can uninstall them.

Yeah, I had the same issue, then I found out that you actually need to enable the Virtual Machine Platform from the Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows Features On or Off (place checkmark) > Virtual Machine Platform > OK

I am experiencing this issue as well: Notes: Availability: Only available to Windows 11 Insiders on Beta Channel in the US. (Minimum), Not specified (Recommended)

I thought it was because my Microsoft account was originally in Canada, but I have updated my account, as well as my PC settings to the US, as much as I know how ( I live in Michigan), and it still doesn't work.

I have enabled the Virtual machine platform and virtualization, as well as done everything else the article has told me to do, but the windows subsystem for android is still not available to me.

Any help or sideload links would be appreciated. I'm not sure where to start for sideloading.

Also, the requirements say Amazon Appstore requires Ryzen 3000, but I am running Ryzen 7 2700. Will this work for the appstore if I can get it installed?
