[SOLVED] How to run dual monitors with one VGA port.

Hey All...

I have an older computer with a single VGA port that has been updated to Windows 10. There are no HDMI or DVI ports. I'm hoping to run dual monitors independently, but I'm unable to find an adapter or splitter to handle this. I came across a Startech splitter, but all this was able to do was mirror the display instead of allowing me to setup a dual, independent display. Any advice as to what specific hardware to use to accomplish this? Under my display adapter in device manager it says "Intel HD Graphics." Thanks in advance for your help!

From a single VGA port, you can't have independent monitors. The PC sees only a single output.

Yes, but it depends on what you want to use it for.
Something like PowerPoint, sure. Anything even a little bit graphic intensive...no.

I don't have any specific recommendations, but maybe something like this?

Matrox have a box with single video input and multiple video outputs for cases like this. But I don't remember any details, current searches show HDMI and DP versions only, may be there's VGA version as well.
