How to run Dual Monitors?

I Want to start streaming at some point. So I want to have a smaller monitor setup for chat and a larger monitor(55" tv) for the game its self.

it has 1x Hdmi, 1x DP, 1x DVI-D, and 1xDVI-I

Is it possible? and if so what would be the best way to go about it?

Have each monitor on a separate cable and go to the graphics card settings and tell it to extend the screen, although I don't know how fast it will run on that GPU when you're playing games and streaming

You don't need any special software to run dual monitors, just plug the two displays in and it should automatically be set to "extend" them. If you right click on the desktop and go to "screen resolution" you should be able to change the orientations of the screens.

so essentially I should run one through the HDMI and another through a different port such as the DVI-I?

and I plan on getting an Elgato capture card so I can do more console streaming.

but if you have any recommendations for a better GPU that isn't going to break the bank for this setup I would gladly take them.

Well an elgato should help, and you may not need a new GPU depending on the games your playing
