how to run game in steam client?

hello guys i m trying to play RIDE 2015 game on my lappy but the thing is that it always shows "steam client must be running to play this game" even though i installed and signed up for that please help me...........

Right click the game in the steam library and hit play or just double click on the icon or game name. And steam client needs to be running when launching the game!

Let me guess, you put a shortcut on the desktop and now you think you don't have to keep steam in your task bar anymore?

You're gonna have to find something else to shut down to speed your windows launch, steam is necessary evil, like the devil skulking in the corner somewhere that will drive his horns up your gluteus maximus if you go anywhere without him.

someone pls reply with working solution ASAP! Im having the exact same problem!

I've ran as administrator for both steam and the game but it still doesnt work. It says steam client must be running bullshit

So is the steam client running? Did you check with the support for the game or Steam?
