How to run IGPU and DGPU together?

I got a 8800GTS, and I want to use it in place of my IGPU for video editing, and use the newer IGPU for games. I have absolutely no cash right now, and i need a solution for this. In my mobo manual, it says it supports IGD multi-monitor (MSI A88X-G43), but when i go into BIOS with the 8800, everything is garbled and i can't change it when im running IGPU. Thanks for your time.

Solution
Most bios don`t like to play well in particular cases.

For example your 8800GTS card uses the Nvidia based Gpu.
And it is likely that the motherboard can support an on board IGP such as an Intel based solution, Ati based solution.
Embedded as part of the cpu package it`s self.

Mixing and trying to run mixed dedicated and Igp solutions more often fails.

The only condition where it will work for example would be a FM based Cpu/Igp based on the model number.
With a matching dedicated GPU graphics card of the same model range. With, or without crossfire enabled.
By the users choice.

Even if you got it working so it booted to windows, you would most likely suffer crashing as the two different Gpu and IGPUs compete for system resources...

The only time it will work is if you have the FM2 Ati AMD setup like i said with a dedicated Graphics card in the Pci-e slot of the
motherboard.

I`m sorry but from experience, it`s a waste of time trust me the system will or would crash more.

Solution
Well damn, i guess i just need to start saving for a good GPU, any recommendations, I'm thinking R9 380 or 960. Size of the card is no issue, I have a mediocre PSU (TT Smart 550W)
EDIT:I dont play super GPU heavy games, Skyrim, Just Cause 2, ect, at 1080

Your best off if your strapped for cash is to go for a 7970 Ati based Pci-e based graphics card.
You can pick second hand ones up on e-bay for as little as £80 or less.

I can tell you if you get a 7970 Ati 3Gb card it will run, or should I say will run all the latest games such as Mad max.
Metal gear solid V at good frame rates with most of the texture Fx enabled in games.

I`ve bought about four off e-bay, one was a quick fix but the bidding on it went for £42 in the end.
It just needed a re flowing of the memory chips of the graphics card.

That was one of the best bidding days 🙂
Much like the old Nvidia 8800 GTS they are a surprisingly powerful card still.
