I have an Asus Rog Strix B450-F gaming MoBo and a R5 2600 cpu. My old ram was hyper x fury 2666mhz. I recently bought a Gskill trident Z neo 3600mhz. I can get up to 3200mhz. But when setting it to 3600mhz in the bios, pc wont boot up. Is there any way I can use all those frequency?

Solution
Even the QVL list shows support for up to 3466mhz on that board.

At worst, so long as you have the MOST recent BIOS version for your motherboard installed, and if you don't, you need to do THAT, you should be able to run it at that speed if you have only a two DIMM kit. If you have four DIMMs, you are probably going to be limited to a slower speed like 3200mhz or possible 2933mhz.

AMD Ryzen™ Processors
4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 3466 (O.C.)/3200(O.C.)/3000(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666/2400/2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture

There...
I had my g.skill 3600 2x8 royal gold cl16 running @ 3600 when i had my 2600x on my rog strix x470 f gaming.
That ram is on my qvl for 3000 series but it took docp , freq 3600 and 1.45v
Pro 60
Rtt_nom off
Rtt_wrt dynamic off
Rtt_park auto
And the rest auto

But if you are not planning to upgrade cpu and bios to a 3000 series then return the ram a go with tight timing 3200 cl14 in 2x8 or 2x16.
You will save on the aspirin.

Return the 3600mhz and buy a 3200mhz ddr4 ram. More than enough for that board and CPU

There is not likely to be an appreciable difference between 3466mhz and 3600mhz that you would ever be able to recognize. Running at that speed would be advisable. If you update to a newer Ryzen 3000 series CPU, you may be able to get it to run faster AND you may even be able to get it to run faster now, if you are willing to manually configure the settings and timings, but it is going to be more involved than just changing the memory speed. You'll likely need to manually configure all of the primary timings, and possibly a couple of secondary timings, as well as some of the other BIOS settings like the memory voltage, VTTDR and SOC voltages might need to be tweaked as well.

Probably it would be best to stick with the officially supported speed on that board which is 3466mhz. You're honestly not losing enough to notice in any way other than side by side comparison on synthetic benchmarks.

This is honestly in my opinion, not good advice. If the OP is already getting 3200Mhz with a 3600Mhz kit, why would you return it to get a lower rated kit that may potentially be an inferior product? If the current kit is 2x8GB and rated for 3600Mhz, you can potentially run it 3466Mhz on Ryzen 2000, which is also just about the maximum Ryzen 2000 can handle. If the OP ever upgrades to Ryzen 3000/4000, they will be able to use the full speed of the memory kit.

Exactly. I agree, as per my above comment.
