Question How to safely OC i9 12900k? Is it worth it at all?

Simply and neatly how do i overclock my CPU? Im not using watercooling rig so maxing out the OC is not a possibility to me. Is it worth it at all?

i9 12900k
ASUS Z690 MAXIMUS FORMULA
Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 5600Mhz

Most would say not worth it for any practical reason. Particularly when you say "not using watercooling".

Although I'm not sure that cooler is an air cooler.

"Worth it" questions are always highly personal to the questioner.

But maybe you are curious. Maybe you just want to experiment and learn how to do it. Maybe you pay a lot of attention to benchmarks. You can probably come up with some other "maybes".

By worth it i mean as a whole, not by a personal perspective.

My cooler is an air cooler, yes.

That's my only maybe for now more maybes will come up of course, but that is my main concern for now.

I mean squeezing around 10 fps more in games wouldn't be so bad, not sure how big of an improvement it would be.
