[SOLVED] How to save MacOS installation logs?

Hi everyone. im trying to install macOS catalina to imac 2012 using bootable pendrive. Unfortunately it is not installing successfully. Is there an way i can save installation logs in other external pendrive? Im unable to see other external pendrives.

The reason as to why you can't install (specifically) macOS Catalina onto your iMac from 2012 is because it is incompatible with your iMac.
