Probably the OP' question revolves around binary search on ordered array.

On a side note: I'm still wondering why so many classes are taught using ancient technologies as DOS, VB6, etc...

Honestly just do not know...

Taught BASIC, FORTRAN, and Flowcharting "back in the day....."

Envy the younger family members now with Scratch (MIT) etc...

Amazed at how the "coding" now enforces the logic. And the kids do get it all figured out.
