Question How to see which folders are closed ?

Hi,

In Windows 10 Pro, suddenly all the opened folders are automatically closed.

Q1. How to see what are the closed folders?

Q2. Why does my PC randomly close all opened folders?

Q3. Is there a software that can record all opened folders and files? If my PC suddenly shut down or blue screen or suddenly restart, I want to know what are the opened folders and files.

update after seeing some replies:

I mean after I opened some folders, then suddenly all the opened folders automatically clos at random times. The taskbar suddenly become frozen and all black for a few seconds then all taskbar icons reappear but all the opened folders are automatically closed.

Examples of 3 folders opened
D:\food\tea
D:\data
D:\data\images\furniture
At the File Explorer icon on the taskbar when I mouseover it will show the 3 folders opened

If you have just one drive, it could be failing. It is like removing the power. The folders will just disappear like magic.

You can't.
All folders that are not currently open, are closed.
Folder being open means some process/program is accessing folder contents.
Folder being closed just means, it is not open. Such list of closed folders doesn't get maintained.

It's not folders being closed.
More likely - it's program crashed, that was accessing folder contents.

Q3. Is there a software that can record all opened folders and files?

Process explorer can show you, what processes are running and what files are being accessed.

Also: Reliabililty History/Monitor and Event Viewer can be used to look for error codes, warnings, or even informational events just before or at the time of the crashes or other strange happenings.

Possibly - drive D : has disappeared from system.
Check cables. If that doesn't fix it, then faulty drive. Replace.
