How to set a private character as a typing font?

i have been using the Private Character Editor and have roughly drawn my own english alphabet, A-Z.
i have tried to set it as the default font, so as i type, my private characters come up. but I wasn't successful. does anyone know how to do this?
i already know i can go to character map and copy each character, but i don't want that.

You would have to create a new, named font. Then install that font.

this may help , you may be able to copy your fonts onto this site mentioned and they will create truetype fonts from your fonts for free that will work on your pc, this guys a laugh

go to fontstruct.com , register its free , use their font constructor , copy what you have or recreate the same fonts then they will give you the option to turn them into truetype fonts you can download for free
