Hey Guys,

I've being having trouble with CPU fan speed. On idle it runs at around 1800RPM which in my experience is quite high.
I've played around in the BIOS fan settings but an unable to lower the fan speed without entering it manually which i don't feel confident doing.

I'm wanting to set the fan control to auto but cant find this option in BIOS. I've read over the user manual and over the forums but an unable to locate an answer.

CPU fan speeds are temperature controlled by default, you shouldnt be touching settings for them.

Your fan speeds are because you are using an AIO cooler, there is no real way around it. Especially considered the cooler's fans are rated at 1500~2500RPM

Make sure the motherboard is controlling the fan speed and not the firmware on your cooler. Asus boards will control the fan better than the coolers profiles will. Just go into the bios and you should see an option for a quiet profile.
