How to set BIOS to default settings?

Hi guys I recently changed some bios settings, to make a faster boot time. stuff like changing the order of the harddrives thing 😀 and disabled some features. I cant even remember which. Any way my boot was faster and i have no problem with that but now i just want to check the differance of boot time with default settings. Can i change them to default without the CMOS and battery thing?

And will updating my BIOS put the settings back to default?

Will the change setting to custom defaults work?

also, after i did the changes some of my shortcuts that show which buttons i should press to get BIOS menu and boot For e.g when windows shows on intel screen they show those buttons we have to press (f1) (f2) some of those were also gone

my motherboard is Intel DH55HC coi3

there is a option in the BIOS option itself..
"restore factory settings '
some thing like that.
save and restart

there are options optimal defaults and custom defaults right? anyway if I change it to factory defaults should I reinstall windows or will my PC be completely the same? or should I change anything to make it perform 100%?

yep optimal defaults are the options in ur BIOS,
and no u dont need to resinstall windows 😛
as ur are not even toching ur hard drive ..

i tried it but still seems its da same. the shortcuts still shows only 2 on intell screen (default was 4)
