How to set hard drive configuration to factory default in windows 7

I have an error when i try to make a factory disc, it says "hard drive configuratiuon is not set to factory default, back up aborted". I bought this computer at a cashland that is now doubling as a pawn shop. They have no information to help me out, can anyone plz help?...much appreciated! denny

look up the make and model on the manufacturer's website, and then make sure that everything matches what they have. This is the danger of buying used PC equipment unless the person is supplying you with a Windows disc to go with it (like I do when I sell off my old PCs, because that OEM disc follows the hardware)
