So I just finished building my computer, and installed Windows 10 on my SSD, but now I want to set my HDD as the primary file holder (all files are downloaded and stored on the HDD) but I don't know how to do that. My C: drive is currently set to my SSD, and I'm not able to locate my HDD in File Explorer and can't find it anywhere else besides confirming that it's working through the BIOS. How do I set my HDD as the default drive?

This:
Win 7 & 8: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1834397/ssd-redirecting-static-files.html
Win 8.1 & 10: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html

Now...if you can't see the HDD in File Explorer, thats a different issue.
Open Disk Management
Does it appear there?
It probably just needs to be Initialized.

Windows has "security" and you have to give permission to the OS as "administrator" to use/add Drives.

Right click Computer-Manage-storage-Disk Management right click the graphics below for the NEW drive complete partitioning and formatting for the drive (if needed)... And "Mark Partition as Active"

When ever installing a New App... always choose "custom install" this will allow you to select the location/drive for the install files.

This is what I see when I open Disk Management. I can see the hard drive here, still can't see it in file explorer.

Right click on that space in the bottom portion
It should give a couple of options
"New Simple Volume" is what you're probably going to see.
