Simply put, I had a 128GB SSD with Windows 7 on it.

I bought a 500GB SSD and installed windows 10 on it while the 128GB SSD was UNPLUGGED.

I was able to boot into windows 10.

Then I decide to pop in the 128GB SSD alongside the new 500GB SSD and all of a sudden, Windows 7 is booting, not 10, even if i choose the 500GB drive as the bootable drive (F8 on startup), all that happens is the computer turns off and when I turn it back on again its Windows 7.

Help please :/?

Thanks

You have to go into the BIOS and rearrange the boot priority so the win 10 drive is 1st and then the win 7 drive is below. Just leave the other ones alone (will likely be USB, optical drive, etc..)
