Question how to set rams with diffrent tRCD and tRP?

Hi

my current memory sticks (dual-channel) have Tested Latency of 15-17-17-35. I want to buy another dual-channel pack of rams and don't know if new sticks with Tested Latency of 15-16-16-35 can be matched with old ones or not. CL & tRAS are same, but tRCD and tRP are different. how does this difference affect performance? they also have diffrent tested voltages, one pack runs @ 1.35 and the other pack runs @ 1.2 .

You will need to test both at default settings to see if they can work at those settings. If they can, then you can try improving some values to see what can work. Tested specs go out the Window once you attempt multiple kits.

A poor combination, different voltages, not guaranteed to work at all. If the system does boot up, memory may no longer operate at rated specifications. You can set timings to anything you want with no guarantees. Looser timing would be higher number.
