how to set the HDD as a storage device instead of an SSD!HELP!

Hi,I built my new pc. Every thing was going well except this annoying problem.
I installed windows on my SSD and set it up for OS. But When I want to download stuff of Chrome or Steam or any other brouser It doesn't ask me where I want to save them. It is automatically saved on my SSD and I don't have the choice to save it on my HDD instead! All I want is Automatically (Preferred) or Manually (meh) save everything on my HDD except for the OS (on the SSD).
Please guys help me asap.

In Chrome's setting, you can designate which folder it downloads to.

It's under the advanced settings, near the bottom.

I will give it a try tomorrow (its 2:19 AM here). Hope it works. is this method going to Automatically save a download to the HDD?
