Hey guys. Is it possible to achieve something like having two pairs of keyboards and mice and them working as separate input devices on 2 different monitors? (picture)

Also, not connected with the above question, is it possible to have a second keyboard as a macro device for games?

Of course, I am looking for a software that would make any of this possible. I have found Multi-pointer X which seems to be able to separate 2 mice into different input devices. I haven't tried it out yet, though. Any other software solutions you'd recommend?

Solution
Basically no.
The both send the same signals to the computer, so when keyboard 1 sends an A key signal, it's the exact same signal Keyboard 2 sends.
Your only solution is 3rd party software.

Remember, these are Personal Computers, not MultiUser Computers.

Windows Server editions will let you have 2 (or more) separate remote users, and they can both use different keyboards and mouses, but they also aren't using the same logins, ect.

I have the same question, if it isn't possible, i think it would be highly advantages for someone too create some software that allows such a thing. with the advent of Ryzen and having the ability to use a lot of cores (you could theoretically assign a cores for a separate monitor's running different instance of different games. i have a threadripper 1950x, 16 core 32 thread system, that thing is plenty powerful enough to run different instances of different games. plus higher end gpu's these days are plenty powerful enough to run multiple games. so...if you were to set 3 different games for 3 different monitors, assign each game 4 to 6 cores (threads), and run them at moderate to high settings at 1080p, the system easily could run all 3 games.). so the question really is, is it possible to have a separate keyboard, mouse, and xbox controller for each instance. computers are plenty powerful enough to do it these days. i mean, if you own a business that has gaming systems, you could save some money by having 1 system run multiple games, or if you have kids or have a house party or whatever, you could have 1 system run multiple games (this is hypothetically, but if you were to run multiple gpu setup, you could theoretically run lets say, 6 games at once.). if this hasn't been solved with software yet, then i think someone could make some money developing it. charge like 5 bucks to download and intall.
