How would I go about setting up a VPN on my iPad to my home internet?

I've read that but how do I find out my account and server information?

I guess you would be to find out under Settings --- General --- Network --- Vpn, choose the connection you will see the details. Description, server, account and password

Yes but how do I get that from my home network? If I started hosting a VPN on my home computer it will give me that information correct?

On your home computer, you have to check the network settings and over there you will be able to find the information, also make sure that you allow access through the router and configure it properly

What do you mean by allow access and configure it?

You have to do the configuration for VPN on the router setup page for few routers, that's what I meant.
