Ok so normally I'd use port-forwarding, but I can't because Xfinity is absolutely retarded; so I'm locked out of xFi for the time being, and of course now you can't just set up port-forwarding manually.

I do still have the option to set up port-triggering, but I'm having some issues with figuring out what to input in the fields.

So I want to achieve the effect of opening TCP/UDP ports 28010-28020 for dedicated servers; and the options I have is:

Trigger Port From:
Trigger Port To:
Target Port From:
Target Port To:

I've already read a bunch of articles and stuff on how port-triggering works, and I'm still lost as to what I should be putting in the fields. Trigger From/to can't be the same. and Trigger/Target can't be the same either.

Port triggering will likely not work for you, since it requires your server application initiate an outgoing connection on a specified port (Trigger From, To) to open a specified port to the server that initiated the connection.

So, the trigger port would be the outgoing port, and the target port would be your incoming (server) port (28010-28020).

I would imagine that you could use any active outgoing port, but you run the risk of the trigger rule timing out if the outgoing port becomes inactive.
