Hey guys, ive recently gotten into the world of having triple monitors and having a pc and console to record gameplay and edit videos on the triple monitors. I know how to setup the monitors to the pc, i just dont know how you would also connect to a console? I was wondering if you guys could help me out please!

If you want to record console video on your PC you would need a video capture card of some type in the PC.

Then you would run the video cable from your console instead of to a display, to the capture card instead.

If you just want to use one of your 3 displays on the console to play on, then you would just need to plug it in. I do this on my setup, my computer is connected to 3 displays via DisplayPort, and I use HDMI for my console, when I want to play the console, I simply change what input the monitor is using (from DisplayPort to HDMI).

In addition you may want to use a splitter to split the signal from your console that way video can go to the video capture card and can go to a display or tv at the same time.. (makes it easier to play games and record at same time)

And which splitter would you recommend?

I don't really have any recommendations as there are many factors involved. The main one is what type of signal (HDMI?) you are going to split. Here are some I have found but there are many many more out there http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F5R9TNM?psc=1

And here is a whole load of them at http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=hdmi+splitter&N=100161022%20600413999%20600414033&isNodeId=1

Feel free to look them up on google..
