How to setup G Sync correctly

Ok I own a Acer Predator XB271HK and I'm having an issue with G sync

For some reason When enabling g sync my FPS will not go over 60FPS

Can anyone tell me why or even tell me how to set it up correctly?

Are you sure V-sync is turned off in the game you're playing.

I've done all that and it still limits my FPS to 60

But 60 is the max your monitor can display, going over it would be pointless.

Wow, I thought it was the 1440p, 144hz Predator monitor.

As above, you can't display more than 60hz because it's limited by the panel.
