Question How to setup my fans and 360mm AIO on "Aquarium" case?

Hi! I live in Brazil. My current case has became too crammed especially on the backside , I just can't fit more cables there so I bought a new one. Unfortunately I bought a combo of 9x Aigo fans with a controller on the cheap and then I found out they're crap. But good fans are kinda too expensive anyways, so for now I'm just sticking with them.

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
Mobo: Asus B550m TUF Gaming Plus
AIO: Corsair H150
Case: Pichau HX700A
Fans: 9x Aigo AR12 (crap)
Memory: 4x8GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 3600Mhz CL16
GPU: MSI RTX 4080 16GB Ventus 3x OC
PSU: Sharkoon 750W SilentStorm Cool Zero
Storage: 1tb Netac nvme, 2tb nvme (forgot the brand), 1tb Crucial SATA SSD, 2tb WD Green HDD

So, the important thing is this:

It is a chonky boy. PSU is installed sideways behind the motherboard plate. It accommodates:
Side: 3x 120mm (one option for the AIO)
Top: 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm (another option for AIO)
Bottom: 3x 120mm;
Back: 1x 120mm


Help meow. Where do I put the AIO? Which are intake? Which are exhaust? Thanks =D
 
This case is basically a Lian Li 011D clone.

I have mine set up with intake along the bottom and the front right side (from the front), exhaust on the back and top. The 011D I have is the mini, so the only place a rad that big would fit on mine is the top. Check your manufacturer site to see what it says about fans/rad for that model. It is in Portuguese I think?

Also, be aware of rad placement if on top that it will clear your motherboard and heat sinks.

Yeah, I have a problem with my current case with that. The radiator is at the top but its too damn thicc. I cant install just any memory cause of the heatsink sizes and my radiator is not installed exactly straight because of the mobo vrm heatsink. That case rly had to go.
I can install the AIO on the bottom, side or top of the case.

i would set it up as 3x side intake,
1x bottom intake,
1x rear exhaust,
AIO(3x) top exhaust.
That's what I was thinking but there's one big aesthetic problem: all my fans are white, ik, stupid, but they were on sale. So I was thinking if the AIO was on the side it would look a lot better due to the fact that theyre the only 3 fans that are going to forward-face the side panel.
 
In my own case, the biggest that will mount on the side is a 280. I am using a 240 AIO there on intake and it keeps the CPU well managed. I can use 3xx lengths on the top and bottom of the case but each of those causes various fitment issues in relation to how thick the rad is, as you have also noticed.

Yes. It is a trade off that either you are going to blow warm air in, or pull warm air out to then cool the CPU. In my own case I have an intake fan below (3 actually) and exhaust fans mounted towards the front on top (x2) so that the air movement from the cooler is being pushed/pulled right out the top. There are the other couple of intake fans on the bottom pulling fresh air for the graphics card and the rear exhaust fan along with the middle top one take care of that. My temps stay well controlled under load.

if you begin to feel the area around the system getting warmer than the heat will also be migrating back into the system through it's intakes.

you may need to add some sort of external fan that will help direct heat away from the system in general.
i keep a 24" fan under my desk directing air away from me & the system and towards the open doorway. helps keep the ambient temperature in the room down a couple degrees.
