Hi, I just got two Kustom KPX112P speakers from my buddy and am wanting to use them for small parties but don’t know what I need to set them up properly. They have an xlr jack, 1/4” input jack, and then a 1/4” output jack. I know I’ll need a receiver but do receivers have 1/4” audio ports, and if so how do i connect both speakers to it?
Thanks in advance.

Receivers vary.

Start with some links such as the following:

Another way to go about it is to go look at a few receivers. Identify 2 or3 that you are interested in, within budget, and a general match to your audio requirements.

Then visit the manufacturer's website and read the applicable User Guides/Manuals.

Look at the diagrams and available ports and connections. You may be able to make direct connections or just use some adapters.

Check the manufacturer's forums (if any) as well. Look for what is said as well as unsaid.

For the most part, the time and effort will be well worth it. Plan it out, post your plan, and ask for further comment.

Those are powered speakers, you don't need a receiver for those unless you get one with a line output jack. For parties you would get a mixer like this https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MG06--yamaha-mg06-6-channel-mixer?&mrkgcl=28&mrkgadid=3301333062&product_id=MG06&campaigntype=shopping&campaign=aaShopping%20-%20SKU%20-%20Live%20Sound%20&%20Lighting&adgroup=Live%20Sound%20Mixers%20-%20Yamaha%20-%20mg06&placement=google&creative=280136034238&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CjwKCAiA0svwBRBhEiwAHqKjFlQfmvIV2NfvthgBk6PZdxMVG30mpzRUXx_5EQ6grmpHDWITrdxwaBoCOr0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds with XLR balanced outputs, some XLR cables running to those speakers and something to play audio from, phone, laptop, etc.. connected to the inputs on the mixer. You can find a ton of info on DJs sites or head to a music store and talk to someone there.
