Hi. My laptop get its internet connection via WiFi that is really limited for one device only. So I bought 2nd WiFi USB adapter to share my 1st WiFi Internet connection, so I can use my laptop as a WiFi router for my other devices. I'm using Windows 10 now. Anybody have idea how to share it? Using the same adapter for receive and route internet connection in the same time makes my connection interrupted and it makes me worry that I will broke my 1st WiFi adapter.

There are several choices. You can bridge the adapters in the network control panel by selecting change adapter settings and highlighting both adapters then right click and select bridge connection. Not the best from a security standpoint unless your wireless #1 is from your router.

The other choice is to enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on the adapter that has the Internet connection. Then Windows will take control of the second adapter and make all IP assignments for the 2nd adpater's network.

Another better way that ICS if you want to spend a little is a program called Connectify, which allows you to set up and manage the second wireless adapter network, including separate security.

The other wifi adapter needs to be associated with another network to "do anything" with it.

It would help if you could explain more about where the other wireless signal comes from and what you want to do with the 2nd adapter -- connect to another network that does not have wireless? And what are the components of the second network, a router or just a phone or laptop?

Ok. At last.... I can share my WiFi connection on my laptop for my other devices, using 2 WiFi Adapter.

Here is what I got:

My devices: A laptop with built-in WiFi Adapter, and Ralink MT7601 USB WiFi Adapter (UWA).

1. Install the driver and user interface for the USB WiFi Adapter.
2. Check if the device (UWA) works and enabled.
3. Check if the user interface for UWA runs.
4. Open Network and Sharing Centre.
5. Click Change Adapter Setting to open Network Connection Windows.
6. Make sure that the second UWA shown, usually it will automatically named "Wi-Fi 2"
7. Right click WiFi (built-in) , Properties, Sharing
8. Check box "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet Connection
9. Choose "Wi-Fi 2" on the "Home networking connection:"
10. Click OK

11. Now, check on the tray icon for MT Ralink User interface Icon.
12. Right click on it and choose "Switch to AP Mode". Ignore any error that occurred.
13. Click AP Setup and setup your own Access Point (SSID and Password)
14. On ICS WAN dropdown menu, choose your built-in WiFi Adapter
15. It is recommended to use channel 1 (or other suitable channel on your country)
16. Use WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Authentication
17. Set it until it finished and routing a WiFi SSID you made. Check it on your phone or other devices.

On my case, there is a problem happened when I tried to connect my phone to my self-made SSID.
Here is how to solve it:
18. Check the IP Address from UWA UI.
19. Input that IP Address on your phone while setting up the connection to your WiFi.
20. On the UWA UI, look for filtering feature and input your MAC Address to the white list.

That's all I got. And now I can't use my Single-User-Subscription WiFi provider for all of my devices.
