How to share the big videos from computer to mobile devices directly?

The video file is too big, is there any good way to share it from my computer to phone quickly? My friend recommend this software -My WIFI Router, anybody use it?

To display video on mobile devices, you may have to transcode the video. That is a realtime process that reads the video and converts it to a lower resolution for display on mobile devices.

There are a number of software packages that do what "My WIFI Router" does. Google "Virtual Router" -- There are some that are open source.
