AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 8 core processor 3.60 GHz
32 GB RAM
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
AMD Radeon RX 480 8 GB GDDR5 1330 MHz (HDMI x 1, DP x 3, DVI x 1)
I would like to have the same output on 3 screens:
Left: 42" 720p TV, Display Port adapter to HDMI (passive adapter)
Center (Main): 50" 4k Monitor, Display Port
Right: 27" 1080p Monitor, HDMI (Could switch to DVI)
Basically, I'd like to play video (movies, streaming, etc.) and have it on all 3 screens (not extended--all cloned displays). I want to multiscreen the same image/video on 3 screens (each with different resolutions) to maximize viewing angles for multiple people. I'm not overly worried about image quality on the side screens (as long as it's watchable and the aspect ratio is upheld). Audio doesn't need to go to multiple outputs.
1) How do I just get all 3 screens cloned?
2) How can I fiddle with resolutions so each screen has the correct aspect ratio (scaled to the monitor's resolution), etc.?
3) Would an HDMI splitter (1 in: 2 out, not a switch) help, even with the difference in resolution?
4) If it's too tricky to do with Windows or Radeon software, are there 3rd party options? Free?
Hopefully my request makes sense. Thanks so much for any help you can provide!
