how to solve M.2 SSD overheating

I found one thing about my intel 600p ssd.
I sometimes transferring the file, M.2 SSD overheating.
But I did not use the case, use the bare PC.
i run the ssd benchmark, temperature up to 55˚C.
can anyone help me cool down my M.2 SSD.
motherboard: ASUS Z170-K
VGA: GTX 960
CPU: i7-6700K

It very clearly states that it come with a thermal pad.
