So, I have ASUSTek P5LD2-SE (LGA 775) mother board with 2x2 RAM slots, but I just a second ago installed new RAM inside and I realised that both of those dual slots are for different type of RAM. Is there any way to specify type of free RAM slot? Thanks!

Edit: I don't have problem with RAM compability, I just found out that second pair of slot is probably for different type of RAM, beacouse the default one won't fit in there, and I want to know how do I check which one.

Yea, I got that idea to, but it looks like that standard DDR2 won't fit into that second slot, the first one where my old DDR2 was is fine, but I can't fit that old one into that second slot wich wa spervously empty, so I suspect that it is different slot type, maybe?

Well, I underestand that would be probably the case with new RAM, but the old one which fits into first two slots?
I know it should fit in there too, but I tried almost everything to get it in...
