Hi, I'm building a computer using a SSD For the boot/system drive and a large sata drive for storage. Using Windows 10, I want to put the c:\user folder on the sata drive. How do I do that? Thanks

Solution
Changing the location of the whole /Users/ folder is contraindicated.
Some things WILL choke on this.

Move the location of the individual Libraries instead. Not the whole thing.

Read these for how to manage space between the SSD and your other drive:
Win 7 & 8: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1834397/ssd-redirecting-static-files.html
Win 8.1 & 10: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html

Changing the location of the documents etc. is the important bit. I'm 99% sure this is all you have to do.

There is a method in here (following a quick google) that tells you how to do it 'clean' and post installation.

Good point, the simple folder move is better. There is a means of recreating those folders in the default locations (blank of course) should something go wrong.
