How to start BIOS

When i stat my computer (an Asus X550JK) i get no possibilit of opening BIOS
itis on within 3 seconds, and there is no bios loading screen, ony the standard "asus" for 1 second
but stil, i have tried pressing most of the "f1 - f12" butons, including buttons like "Delete" and "Escape"
but i cant seem to open BIOS'
do ihave to update drivers or something for tis to work ?
i have to start bios t change the boot drive.
Windows 8.1, standard issue drivers for the X550jk

Believe it's the F2 key - should be in the manual if you have it, else get it on-line

Windows 8.1 issue

Step 1) Press ctrl + c or swipe from right to left to open the charm.
Step 2) Click on Settings then power.
Step 3) shift + click restart and a menu would pop up.
Step 4) Click on Troubleshooting then advanced.
Step 5) Click on UEFI Firmware or something like that and then click restart.
Step 6) Enjoy your time in the BIOS!
