Question How to start HDD using SMPS only

I have one extra SMPS and HDD SATA 1tb segate barracuda. I wanted to connect it to my computer. I tried with jumper cable but it just start SMPS without HDD. So how can I start my HDD with SMPS without Motherboard

I have no idea what you mean with "SPMS". Even Google can't tell me what you could possibly mean by that. Can you clarify?

SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supply) is what a PSU often is called in India.
