The cooler has two connections, one for USB and the other for RGB. No manual to be found for the cooler (not cool, AMD!).
I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to connect the leds: USB, RGB or both, and what are the consequences.
Some say that only one should be connected, as one (which?) supersedes the other anyhow if both are connected. Some say that the USB is a better option since the respective software (that needs to be installed) allows control of all the leds, while the RGB connection would only allow control of some of the leds.
But many of those instructions are already a year or so old. What is the situation with a newer mobo, such as the B550-F? Does the RGB connector with Aura Sync already provide equally good or even better control options? And if that is the case, should I leave the USB unconnected or is it still needed for something?
