Hello guys my old pc died a few weeks ago so I decided to buy a new cpu and motherboard so I went with a Intel pentium g3258 and a msi h81-p33 so I could get more performance by OC'ing. So after getting settled I OC'ed my cpu to 4.0ghz because I still have the stock cpu cooler. Now the problem is that when playing games the cpu decides to overclock itself. Last week while playing black ops it overclocked itself to 7.2ghz and reached 72 degrees celsius. Is ther anyway to stop the auto overclock? I've searched everywhere but cannot find a answer.

And lastly when this auto overclock happens the it always overclocks in a way that 4ghz clock speed is the average eg. it overclocks by 500mhz to 4.5ghz and then downclock by 500mhz to 3.5ghz.
