how to stop my pc connecting to other pc's on same network

hello I live shared house theirs one internet connection or modem we all connect to is their away to stop my pc from auto connecting to other pc's or devices on same modem/network or theirs connecting to my pc I have windows 10 thanks

Go to the Network and Sharing Center.
Once there click on the left hand side option for Changed advanced sharing settings.
Turn off Network Discovery for which ever profile you are using.

One way of doing it is to change your network location setting in your pc to Public network to make it restrictive.

Open your Network and Sharing Center, click on ethernet if your connection is wired then click on the Ethernet Connection shown on the right window then turn off "make this pc discoverable".

If your connection is wireless, click on wifi then go to "Advanced options" and turn off "make this pc discoverable."
