Ive made a similar thread about smashing mice, which is a thing in the past now...

Now its headsets. I have a pretty bad history of headsets and i dont completely trust myself yet.

I bought a blue yeti so that i could take a break from headsets and see if that would help... Well, that period is over, considering the thing fell off my desk and completely stopped working.

So now im thinking of returning it and earning points to get another headset.

now before i even buy a headset, I need to know, is there any way to stop myself from the urge of throwing my headsets from loosing a match in CSGO?

To deal with things: Have you tried meditation? Or yoga. Reading books. Taking long walks.
How about mindset. Do you go in to these games to learn X. Got zerg-rushed, but learned a little something about X? You still win.

To prevent it: Is your smashing stuff in anger a projection of frustration in other parts of your life? Do you need to get a new job/wife/husband/school? Do you need to work on your current relationship with your job/wife/husband/school?
Quit getting so upset over a game. Never take a game so serious, just play it and have fun. If you get that upset, maybe get up and walk away from the computer for a few minutes to calm yourself down. I am being serious here, simply relax and have fun! Destroying your things isn't going to solve anything. :)

how can i do that when im mad my brain just turns off

i went to the worst gradeschool imaginable, they never taught us about anger mangement, and i was expelled for gluing the teacher's name card to her desk because she kept loosing it

Look, we're all human. We all get angry over things, even stupid things we shouldn't be getting angry over. I get mad as well. I get mad over a stupid college football game and want to yell at the TV sometimes.:pt1cable: I don't get so mad that I want to bash my TV, or cause others harm, though. But when a person gets so angry that they want to cause themselves or others harm, or destroy things- it's time to talk to someone about that anger. An don't be ashamed to ask for help! If you have an anger problem, and you know that you do, talk to someone that may can help you get it under control. If you haven't done so, talk to your parents, a relative, or even a teacher about your anger problems. Maybe they can help you.

Remember, it's just a silly game. Relax and have fun! You can do it!

I am pulling for you! Best of luck, buddy!

How long ago was this?

Seriously though, stay calm and put things in perspective. Is any game action worth the expense of replacing hardware ($$$)? Only you can resolve that issue with yourself.

If you want help, it is available. Use it.

I would also suggest you take up a hobby that requires some physical effort. Aside from the health benefits, the stress reduction could help you with your trigger anger.

Good luck.
