Don't overthink this.Is there a decent way to temporarily store old monitor in the garage, such that it won't get damaged?
Maybe cover it with some box. Obviously I don't have the original box.
What do you do in this case?
What do you practically use to protect it from falling, dust, moisture?Don't overthink this.
Protect it from dust, moisture, falling.
That's about it.
Don't put it on a shelf where it might get knocked off. What do you practically use to protect it from falling, dust, moisture?
If it is sitting in a place where it won't be knocked or touched, why the bubble wrap?If you get Bubble-Wrap sheets then buy some and wrap it around the monitor. This will also absorb minor impacts if any and prevent possible physical damage due to minor impacts.
As said earlier...dust, moisture, falling. What are the factors in mind of OP that can damage an item stored in garage?
I still have a very old DB15 connector 4:3 15" screen monitor for those far and between testing purposes. Stays wrapped in bubble pack just-in-case 11 months of the year for the past 5 years in the garage. Gets 110ºF in the summer and almost 32ºF in the winter. "It's alive!"Is there a decent way to temporarily store old monitor in the garage, such that it won't get damaged?
