How to swap C: drive and E: drive?

I have a 1TB HDD and a 64GB SSD installed on my device that I just wiped and installed a fresh copy of windows 10.

My goal was to boot windows from my SSD and put nothing else on it. However, now everything wants to install to the C: drive (the ssd) where windows is and it is annoying to have to change everything to the E: drive. I have already run into problems where programs installed on my E: drive (the hdd) can't run because they have hardcoded paths to the C: drive.

Is it possible to rename my hdd as the C: drive and have windows boot from my SSD as a different drive letter?

Thanks.

No. Do not do that. Tears will result.

Read this, and pay attention to the OS version:

Win 8.1 & 10: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html
