how to switch from asus x58 to asus x79 without formatting

how can i switch from asus x58 p6x58d-e to asus x79 deluxe same hardware same hard drive
same everything except
new asus x79-deluxe
new i7 5960 processor
corsair vengenance ddr4 32gb 2133mhz
nvidia gtx 980 4gb gddr5

i have tons of software that require activations how can i make this transistion from x58 to x79 without re-installing everything there's got to be a way to just plug & play and it WORKS

1) You MUST have a retail license of Windows 8 for that to work
2) If you have a retail license, you can just swap out the mobo, but you WILL eventually run into issues since the architectures are completely different.

Basically, just suck it up and reinstall Windows , you'll hate yourself later for not doing it now. Most likely you'll eventually have to reinstall to resolve issues coming from the hardware change.
