What did you use to clone this?
The first step after cloning should have been to disconnect the old drive, and verify the new SSD is the boot drive.

I used Macrium Reflect, Can you give me instructions on how to do it?

Power off
Disconnect the old drive
Power on
Open up the BIOS, and see where the SSD is. Make it first
Continue, and see if it boots properly.

Would you anticipate any problems if dealing with UEFI rather than BIOS? Like should you turn off Safe Boot first?

Shouldn't have any issues.
The primary concern is to disconnect the old drive before you power up after the cloning operation.
