How to take out a card properly and replace it.

I would like to know how i can take a card out, remove the old drivers and then put in the new card and install the new drivers.

Can i get a step by step walk through.

9600 GS -> 9800 GT

You might not even need to remove the old drivers because they probably use the same driver.
