How to take ownership of more than one file at a time...

Hey guys,

My girlfriend has been asking for my help to try to get some pictures off of her blue screen'd to death hard drive. I've hooked up her old drive to my computer as a secondary drive, so I can access it while on my own windows. I understand that since her files are owned under her own instance of windows I have to "take ownership" of files and folders in order to access them. My question is, since she has literally 1000s of photos on this hard drive, is there any way for me to bulk take ownership of these files? My second question is: Is there a way to then bulk add my user to have read/write permission for all those files at once?
It's been painful having to do it individually for each and every file.

Thanks in advance!

Andrew

Solution
Install Take Ownership regedit

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/

Then right click on any folder or drive and click "Take Ownership"

Quick, easy.
