Hi, this is my first time writing a thread on a forum because of a computer.

You see, I just screwed myself up and had to buy a new graphic card from newegg.com on Black Friday.

It was Radeon HD5970 for $300.

So I was like, 'hell yea!' and didn't even think about the size of my case lol.

The case that I'm currently using is NZXT GAMMA Classic series midtower case.

A lot of people said that this case is full of room for its low price.

I thought so too, when I went to NZXT website and saw that the case's length is over 500mm long.

Never thought it still wasn't enough... (this 12 inch monster...)

I just tried installing the graphic card today, after coming back home from dorm.

It was okay, had to go shove a little into this space (which will be circled in red on the picture i'll be uploading as well)

like half an inch in.

But I did not have the last bit of the room to dock it onto the motherboard.

So I was trying to remove this part.

However, I have no experience in case modding, so I have no idea how to do it.

At the same time, this part is not connected with screw drivers, but with some weird bump.

Any tip or walkthrough will be appreciated.

Please help =]

This is the part that I had problem with.
If I can take this off safely, I will have plenty of room for the card.

i own that case, and from what i can tell, it was not made to be removeable, not saying you couldnt cut it out with a dremel tool though, it would give sharp edges in there if you were to do that though, i suppose you could cover the edges with something though, maybe someone else has a better idea for ya

Yeah, cutting it off won't be that much of a bad idea, but I want to know if there's any better way.

I was waiting for any other replies, but I guess no one had better idea.
I'll cut it open once my dad comes back home this Christmas break.
I guess I can wait. I don't have the equipment.
