How to tell if i can upgrade my video card?

Hello,
Hey guys, i was referred to this forum by a friend. I couldn't find any threads related to my question, so please forgive me. i am in the market for a good graphics card after i bought a Acer Aspire AS5742-7653 Notebook. I want to upgrade it to a better graphic card to play games and use it for adobe programs, but i am not sure if it can.

Because you have a Notebook it will be hard to find a good GPU that will fit. I looked on Newegg and bing shopping and also Ebay and found nothing that would be a good gaming GPU. If you want to game go for a desktop. With desktops you spend less money and get a better product. If you are willing to buy a desktop the GTX 460 or Radeon 5770 - Radeon 5830 are cards with good performance and price. Sorry I couldn't help more. Ask a local computer specialist he might be able to help you without getting a desktop. :D
