How to tell if I have WRT1900AC or WRT1900AC(v2)?

Solution
It should state what model version of the router you have is.

Either via the sticker on the underside of the router.
Or by logging into the router setup menu, it will tell you the model revision Ultra.

Thanks, I'll check now and get back if it's displayed. Would you expect it to be revision 1 if it doesn't say v1 or v2?

I checked under the router and it didn't mention v1 nor v2, I then checked online just to make sure and this is what I found.
From this, I've concluded that it was v1 and not v2, thanks.

You can tell the version number quite easily on most Linksys routers since that is always printed on a label on the bottom of the router.

Simply flip the router over and look at the label on the bottom. The hardware version is located beside or beneath the model number and is labeled version, ver. or V. If there is no version number beside the model number on your Linksys product, the device is version 1

You can also determine the version number from the serial number prefix on the WRT1900AC.
Version one serial numbers begin with "13J1"
Version two serial numbers begin with "13J2"

This is accurate as of this post in October of 2016.
