How to tell if motherboard has displayport?

I am going to get a PC and am wondering how to check motherboard specs if it will have a displayport output.

Look at the video outputs in the specs, or look at pics of the back of the board.

I'm aware, it's what i should look for specifically, any key words? Anything to look for in specific?

It will look very similar to an hdmi slot...

You should look for the word "displayport"...

If you're talking about what to look for on the back of the motherboard itself, look for a connector that looks like this:
