How to test a used (second hand) motherboard?

is there a way to test a used ( 2nd hand) motherboard?

I wanna buy a used ASUS M5A97 R2.0 motherboard but dont know how to test it.

IS ASUS M5A97 R2.0 compatible with AMD Fx 8350 cpu??

because it is so cheap and i dont have enough bucks 2 buy a new 1

by testing I mean to check if there is a problem with any part of it or not/

is there a special software to test it.

Honestly no, there is not any software. The only way to really test the system is to plug in your components, see if it works, and maybe run a stress test. Also try and see if you can check out the system before you buy the board.
