[SOLVED] How to test if motherboard works

I’m going to be buying a x470 motherboard along with a ryzen cpu but i’m not buying them at the same time. I’m buying the motherboard first along with my hard drive, ram, power supply and monitor.
How can I test to see if the motherboard works?
