I got an used PC from my brother after he bought a new one for himself. The PC had some faults which we thought were caused by the motherboard so we switched it to another one. However, we also suspect that the GPU might be fried and I don't have the guts to install it on the new motherboard. Is there a safe way to test it without plugging it in? This is my first own PC and I've heard that a faulty GPU might fry something else if installed. The GPU in question is a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (06G-P4-4995-KR).
